A number of shops offering illegal and often dangerous wares. Decreases Economy by 1 every 30 days, but provides 25 BP if you supported the bandits more times than the common folk during the events that increased Community rank.
Additionally, if you paid more heed to the needs of bandits than the common folk as Community rank increased, once every 90 days the Black Market offers a special project to acquire a random item. The value of the acquired item increases over time. Only one such project can be active at the same time.
Can only be built in a settlement housing a Thieves Guild. Restricted to {baronies/kingdoms} with a Neutral, Chaotic Neutral, Neutral Evil or Chaotic Evil alignment.

Black Market is a building in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

Notes[]

  • Supported bandits: RankUp_Population_Banditism value is more than RankUp_Population_People value or Unlocked BanditsRule
  • Economy loss would happen regardless if you supported bandits or not.
  • The trigger to award BP and/or project will check your current status of bandits support every iteration.
  • You can build several Black Market to benefit from both BP growth and the project. But you won't get a new project if you already have one unresolved, so build them with a time margin.
  • The money-to-BP cost for each project is 20000Coin, 32000Coin, 52000Coin accordingly.
  • The item reward appears in Personal Chest and is triggered on event resolution, making it possible to savescum the desired reward (such as metamagic rods, bracers of armor, or perfection belts).
  • The version of a project you get depends on current Kingdom Day:
    1. Common Goods: Until 999 (till 35 days until 5th curse).
    2. Rare Goods: From 1000 to 1249 (till 263 days on 7th curse).
    3. Extraordinary Goods: 1250 and until the end.

Project Rewards[]

First three projects come from Black Market, third project can also be received from "Capital of Crime" Pitax region upgrade. "Trade with the Outer Planes" is a special project for Kanerah, but rewards are similar.
