Walkthrough[ | ]
- Talk to Grarrukh and agree to send him food with a (Neutral Evil) choice to begin the quest.
- If you don't accept the quest in the first place, you won't get experience reward even if you do the objectives below. However you will still unlock the hidden stash.
- You need to bring "fresh food" to the worg. It can be done in two ways:
- Mite Hunter at the south part of the location, you would need to pass Bluff DC 22 check +67xp. You will fail to persuade them if you have Tristian in party, even if you pass the check.
- This option will fail Death to the Worgs! quest for any outcome.
- Kobold Dragon Shaman (Old Sycamore) at the moon radish patch on the middle hill. They can be tricked with (Neutral Evil) option, no checks needed.
- Mite Hunter at the south part of the location, you would need to pass Bluff DC 22 check +67xp. You will fail to persuade them if you have Tristian in party, even if you pass the check.
- Return to Grarrukh to complete the quest. After that the chest can be found underneath a large tree south of the abandoned camp in the northwest part of Old Sycamore, with a (Perception 0) check; the chest must be dug up with a (Athletics 16) check and is locked with a (Trickery 20) lock. Failing the Athletics check will still allow the player to dig up the chest, but will cost the party 4 hours.
- The chest is secretly trapped with a Finger of Death trap which requires Perception DC 35 to detect and Trickery DC 35 to disarm. This trap requires a (Fortitude 28) saving throw, which will be difficult to succeed against at early levels, and will deal 150 points of damage on a failed save.
- Jaethal is immune to this trap, so having her trigger it offers no risk to the party.
- The player may double-cross Grarrukh and kill him after receiving the location of the chest.
