Strategy[ | ]
Generally useful with weapons that have a broader critical range by default, like Rapier, Bastard Sword or Shortsword.
Since this feat becomes available rather late in the game (especially to a character that doesn't use a full BAB progression) and does not stack with the Lethal or Keen weapon trait, its actual worth is vastly dependent on the late-game itemization. For example, characters built to use Keen Falchion +5]] can easily skip this feat. Some other late-game weapons that render this feat useless:
* Rod of Razors (Bardiche) * Capital Punishment (Greataxe) * Lifestopper (Estoc) * Spinebreaker (Greatclub) * Tears of Blood (Sai) * Allslayer (Shortsword) * Twin Crystals (Two-Bladed Sword) * The Way Out (Scythe) * Prehistoric Tooth (Punch Dagger)
However, the feat still stacks with weapons that have increased critical range that isn't keyworded as a weapon trait, including:
* Vanquisher (Greataxe) * Bloodhound (Dueling Sword) * Gamekeeper of the First World (Composite Longbow) * Torpor (Warhammer) * Malice (Light Mace) * Elemental Punisher (Longbow)
