Lykka is a character in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.
Biography[]
A nixie that lives on the shoreline around Lake Silverstep Village. She used to play with Ivar's children, and seems unaware they have died (or otherwise doesn't realise death is permanent in Golarion).
Interactions[]
Lykka can be found crying just north-east of the village. Players have the option to attack her, or otherwise enquire why she is she is upset. She reveals that the other fey have come to see the local humans as dangerous, due to recent events in the area. Faithful of Charon were carrying cargo with incredibly negative energy across the lake, which disturbed the local aqua fauna - as punishment, Lykka caused the ship to sink, and drowned the sailors. Bandits in the area noticed the event, however, and went to retrieve the cargo, and will unwittingly unleash whatever malevolence is inside it at any moment. Although seemingly unrelated to the village, the local fey are blaming all local humans for this impending doom - a mindset Lykka has stood against, and is currently being shunned for.
Players can agree to help Lykka, and prove not all mortals are worthy of disdain, by stopping the bandits from opening the cursed box. They may press for a reward if desired.
It is possible that the player has already dealt with the bandits and the box by the time they come across Lykka - whilst they can inform her that the situation is taken care of right away, accepting the quest then returning to resolve it immediately will reward the most experience.
