A mage named Farnirras the Pensive is imprisoned under the Lonely Barrow by some unknown force. To get inside we must defeat forty five monsters. Their lairs will be tagged by a special mark once we discover them.

  • During the dialogue with the door if you passed a hidden Knowledge (Arcana) DC 36 check or shown The Key to the Magical Prison to Vordakai you could ask the door about the true nature of the key, getting extra +360xp.
  • To unlock the door you need to defeat at least 45 (out of 46) monster encounters listed below.

It is not possible to use single dimension door spell and get behind the gate anymore, but you can try to teleport on top of the door first and then behind it. It could be a bit tricky but it is possible. *EDIT* As of September 1st 2022, it is still possible to use dimension door to get past the portal. The far left side is your best bet, but it is still a bit finicky. If you have any summon spells, use one to clear the fog of war a bit, and then the dimension door is easier to place. Make sure to quick save before you try, as sometimes, it will only bring across some of your party and not everyone.
