Tsanna (the priestess of Lamashtu from 'Mother of Monsters'), if pardoned, can be recruited as an advisor. She can be either a High Priest[ess] or a Councilor.

CBH: Tsanna's character card says that she "Allows religious freedom, and takes the direct and violent route." suggests that she is Chaotic Evil.

Madaras: I think you're quite right about that. I'm on the fence about Lander. He could be Chaotic evil or Neutral evil. It's possible, but I think highly unlikely he could be lawful evil. He is the only advisor that talks about beheading visitors. He supports the PC pursuing evil actions, like taking the bandits loot for him/herself. He has a strong prejudice against half-orcs it seems based on how he treats that Swordlord's adopted son. If anyone has some more clarifying details I'd appreciate hearing them.

CBH: Maegar's character card says that he "protects the welfare of the citizens", suggesting that he is Neutral Good. Additionally, Vordakai's character card says that he "seeks to increase the barony's arcane might, no matter the cost", suggests that he is Neutral Evil. Reasons for this is that during the Varnhold questline, most of the dialogue choices that benefit the people of Varnhold, usually shift your alignment to Neutral Good. In addition, Vordakai is favored by the Four Horsemen and makes pacts with daemons, which are all of Neutral Evil alignment and most dialogue choices that benefit Vordakai will shift your alignment to Neutral Evil.

Zaltys: I used Cheat Engine to peek at the attributes of some of the advisors. Most of the currently listed alignments are correct (Storyteller is true neutral, Tsanna is chaotic evil, etc). But it shows Kesten Garess as Neutral Evil(!!!) and Shandra Mervey as true Neutral. Can't check Vordakai, Kassil, or Lander at the moment. Kesten is bit of a surprise, but considering his reaction to some of the evil choices (executing Nok-Nok, etc), I suppose it's accurate.

Madaras: Hey Zaltys, are you sure about your cheat engine results? I suppose Kestan could be Neutral evil, but i've not seen that side of him yet, also it's possible, and would be interesting, that Shandra could be True Neutral, but her card clearly states she has a strong affinity for the law. So I'm hesitant to change the page without further evidence to this. Also whomever created the Tables thanks! I like it!

Zaltys: That's what their alignments show, you can check it yourself. Not sure how reliable those are in practice, since there's no detect evil or other such spells -- and therefore some of their alignments might just be placeholders. Still, for the other advisors, their alignment matches their actions. Just got Maegar Varn, and he's shown as chaotic good.

Xrieve: Strange, I've been checking my game's NPCs throughout my gameplay and Kesten was always Lawful Neutral (except for the prologue - he was a Chaotic Neutral then). Shandra Mervey was True Neutral.

Dark: Cheat Engine also shows me that Kesten is LN, when selected via the advisor screen. 69.156.99.37 05:16, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

Madaras: Can you post a link to the cheat engine table that you are using to see these hidden statistics?

I don't know about others but this is the one I've been using. You can use the group named 'Hover-Over unit' (under Game) to check any character that appears on the current map. - Xrieve (talk) 06:41, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

Zaltys: Okay, that's odd. He's LN when you check his adviser card, but the one in your court room is NE. I guess the former is more accurate.

When I hover my mouse cursor over Kesten at the throne room (or wherever he may be), his alignments are always identical to Valerie's (who happens to be standing next to him in the throne room as my regent), (X = -1: Lawful) (Y = -8.742277657E-8: Neutral). - Xrieve (talk) 12:32, 19 October 2018 (UTC)

Lander[]

Lander is completely venal and selfish, even coming up with his own evil option to recommend at least once when the game doesn't offer one if you have any other advisor there. I don't see the claimed ambiguity about his alignment. And even beyond that, every position has one Good, one Neutral, and one Evil candidate (plus the DLC treasurer candidate Kanerah), unless Lander is Neutral; I don't think that's accidental, nor that it holds true for nine positions but breaks down at Regent.
