Tartuk is a character in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.
Biography[]
Tartuk started off as a disguise used by Tartuccio to trick the Sootscale kobolds of Old Sycamore into doing his bidden to recover the artifact in the Old Sycamore Caves. Tartuccio is ultimately killed in the Old Sycamore Caves during A Bitter Rival, but after the player leaves he is reincarnated as a real kobold by a mysterious figure.
Interactions[]
Tartuk is first encountered at the Ford Across the Skunk River after the player has started the quest Troll Trouble. Tartuk sends his minions to attack the caravan of the renowned explorer and writer Jubilost Narthropple just as the player arrives.
Tartuk is later found at the Dwarven Ruins during the conclusion of the Troll Trouble questline, accompanied by the troll king, Hargulka. An [Evil] alignment choice is available to evil player characters which will cause Hargulka to kill Tartuk.
If the player chooses to fight both Hargulka and Tartuk, it is possible to spare Tartuk if he is beaten last. The player may then choose to kill Tartuk after a brief interrogation, allow him to retreat with the remaining kobolds, or, if the player character is chaotic, a [Chaotic] alignment choice is available to retain Tartuk and his kobolds as vassals.
He can also join the party again as a level 20 sorcerer during the final chapter, if the ruler of the land has a neutral alignment, and if he was allowed to live and build his kobold kingdom at the end of Troll Trouble. After defeating Hargulka in Trobold again he can be found lying in the back of the chamber and can be convinced to join the party.

- If you made Tartuk your vassal, then during The Cursed King/Queen in Troll Lair (Merged World) if you have [Neutral] alignment on any axis you can make him join you as companion. Although his feat and spell selection makes him a very poor spellcaster, especially considering that you can't replace most of his items.
